Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio

A Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, oh dear Lord help us all. I say that while I’m laughing because I myself am a Scorpio sun sign with a Stellium of eight planetary placements in Scorpio. Luckily for me I have done most of my work and have purged a lot out of my life that has needed to be purge to hopefully mitigate the effects of this retrograde in our sign of Scorpio. That way I can tell you what areas of your chart are going to be affected and how this Mercury retrograde will actually be affecting you. See, when there’s a retrograde and it is in Scorpio, it’s already going to be intense because this sign is always intense, but if it’s Mercury, this is going to be a very, very interesting Mercury retrograde placement. This is the planet best -known when he goes retrograde about lying, cheating, being deceitful and being kind of a trickster, and Scorpio is the kind of sign that is two sides of one coin.

Either there’s a Scorpio who is not about that lifestyle and will cut that out completely so they can be high vibe or r there’s a Scorpio who is about that lifestyle and then will have their life ripped at the seams with Mercury going retrograde in it’s own house. So this is going to be very fascinating to me as a Scorpio sun myself to see what the other aspects of the other Scorpios that I know will be going through. We are emotional beings and when Mercury goes into a water sign, it’s going to be heavy generally. This is going to not only be heavy, but also intense because we still have Mars going directly in Scorpio as well. Mars is an aggressive planet and can be in this sign especially if you are a Mars in Scorpio person, and this will highlight your ego and anything needs to be worked out.

Depending on where your Mercury placement is to your Mars, you will be coming off very crude and tough. Then there is also the not going to take any nonsense; you’re going to say it just like it is and you’re not going to care where the chips fall. The reason for this is because at this point, you’re going to know who’s telling you the truth and who’s telling you lie. You are also going to know whether you’re telling a lie to yourself or you are telling lies to others or you are telling the truth. That will shine through especially during Mercury retrograde. I always tell my clients do not do any of the following during Mercury retrograde.

Do not: lie, cheat, steal, or travel far without constantly re-checking your itinerary. Do not lend money to people around this time of the year and also don’t be careless with your valuables or possessions. Most importantly do you not sign any important contracts during a Mercury retrograde or make large purchases. But with the Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, there will be secrets always coming out during this type of retrograde.

The secrets that are going to come out are going to be around the themes of: sex, taxation, money, career, status as well as a transformation be it for the positive or for the negative. When Scorpio gets lied to, my God it is like shit hitting the fan; literally you do not ever want to lie to a Scorpio! Definitely when Mercury is retrograde in the sun sign of Scorpio, that is asking for trouble. That’s like literally provoking Scorpio at its worst. Which to me is extremely important that we understand not to do at this point in time. Scorpio can and will be provoked by just about anything that is done towards them and so will everybody else. This is going to be a retrograde that not only will provoke our emotions but also overwhelm us with them.

The reason is because Scorpio is the sign that goes between what I like to say is the conscious and subconscious parts of mind. This is where we act on our emotions and so they do a back-and-forth dance between those areas of the mind. That is what is able to get them to see very clearly what they need to do. So I want everybody to understand that you’re going to be going through your emotional purge if you have not over this last summer. Also, if you are the kind of person that is more of a spiritual, lighthearted person, this retrograde will not affect you as badly. But, if you are not a spiritual person then this retrograde in Scorpio is literally going to bring you to your knees, and I’m praying for you. Being a Scorpio myself I know I can bring people to their knees; I’ve had a Mercury retrograde in my own sign around my birthday bring me to my knees. So I know just how hard this is going to be, but I want to give a brief shining light because I want everybody to understand that you don’t need to panic about the retrograde. It is meant to show you things that need to end because this is the sign of death and transformation.

What they say on Game of Thrones is true: "All men must die.” Yes, it is a part of the life cycle, and this is not to romanticize this subject. It is just a part of life and the life cycle. What the producers of the show forget, both in the books and in the show, is that death leads to transformation to a new way of being, in a new style of life, and brings the pathway towards 5D living and Pisceian existence. Or what I like to say is the watery realm of Pisces. So let’s not look at this retrograde in Scorpio with fear, but look at it as a chance for you to be able to go back into the past and look and see what needed to be loved so you can heal and transform your life for the better.
